Rosa's Effata CD is compilation of songs we made throughout the last few years working on all kinds of projects. We have chosen a few songs that we feel are close to pop music, in an idiomatic way. These are sung band compositions, the singers always tell a story with a punchline and the music is composed around it. This is a contrast to other Rosa compositions where music sometimes reaches a higher level of abstraction and where text is used both as contributor of meaning as well as a remarcable sound phenomenon. Effata means awaken in Aramaic. You might take that personal if you like.
